  • Therapeutic service
I provide art therapy sessions to children, adolescents and adults. Art therapy is a confidential, professional service and does not replace medical or emergency support.

    Initial meeting
A free 30-minute introductory meeting is offered to help us get to know each other and decide whether therapy feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to continue.

    Sessions
Individual sessions last 60 minutes and usually take place weekly or fortnightly unless otherwise agreed. You do not need any art experience to take part. I also offer group art therapy sessions for schools, organisations and community settings. Group length and structure vary depending on the group's needs and the setting, and we discuss this together before beginning.

    Fees and payment
Fees are clearly stated on the Fees & Practical Information page.
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer. A receipt is issued by email after each session.

    Fees are reviewed annually.

    Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give 24 hours’ notice where possible.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the full fee.

    Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential and handled in line with GDPR, child protection legislation and IACAT guidelines. Limits to confidentiality (related to safety or legal requirements) are discussed at the beginning of therapy.

    Storage of artwork
Artwork created in sessions is stored securely by the therapist for the duration of therapy. At the end of therapy, we decide together what you would like to do with the artwork, whether to take it home, photograph it, leave it for disposal, or explore another option that feels meaningful.

    Online art therapy

For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring you have:

    • a private, quiet space

    • a stable internet connection

    • a safe place to store any artwork created between sessions

    Crisis situations
This service cannot provide emergency or crisis support. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact your GP, emergency services, or the appropriate mental health crisis team.

    Professional registration

I am a Registered Professional Member of IACAT and work in line with their ethical and professional standards.
